“I had an opportunity to sail 7 days on a chartered catamaran with Captain David off Australia’s Queensland Coast. It was an adventure of a lifetime. Of course, David was very skilled with sailing, navigation, mooring, anchorage, and tidal knowledge for the area.  What made it extraordinary, was David’s experience and leadership with snorkeling and diving trips. Not only did he research in advance the best reefs with best water clarity and currents, he also helped us with gear and instruction.  He dove with us and captured our wonderful memories with his underwater GoPRO and drone videos.  As a testament to his skill and safety preparedness, our charter rental boat had a failure and lost nav communication with the charter rental agency.  No problem, Captain David had the necessary skill and his own backup navigation apps to return us safely back to the marina on time, ensuring we caught our flight home.

The moment we came on board of La Boheme, it was clear that this was a classy boat with a loving skipper. “We had an amazing vacation with Captain David on his beautiful boat, La Boheme. We sailed around the beautiful islands of  Bocas Del Toro in Panama.  There were 4 of us, two couples, and we were very comfortable in the two cabins with the shared bathroom.  When we arrived on the boat it was fully provisioned with drinks and food that we had requested. Captain David thoughtfully planned our itinerary with the perfect snorkeling sites teaming with sea life.  He even made a video with his underwater goPRO of all our beautiful underwater adventures.  He researched the best places to visit on the different islands which included an organic chocolate farm experience, a turtle research station on a picturesque island with white sand beaches and a rainforest experience where we saw bright red poison dart frogs and monkeys.  He also scoped out the scuba diving shops and connected us with a great dive master.  Captain David made us feel at home on his well-provisioned catamaran.  We felt confident in his sailing and navigation knowledge, we even had a once-in-a-lifetime experience sailing in a regatta.  We were planning our next trip with Captain David by the end of our wonderful vacation!“

Our group of 2 couples has spent a wonderful week sailing on “La Boheme” with captain David, all around the Bocas del toro archipelago in Panama.
David is a great captain, he has given us an amazing sailing adventure, including stops at various places of interest, doing the activities of our preference, at our preferred pace.
Our adventure was very safe, colorful and enjoyable, thanks to David’s extensive experience of being in the ocean with his boat.
The living areas were comfortable and the boat has plenty of spaces to hang out without feeling crowded.
Captain David planned the trip down to all the small details of local adventures, anchoring locations, food menus and estimated costs. We just had to come and enjoy ourselves.
